For 14+ years Damon has worked as an experienced senior creative leader with extensive expertise on both client and platform side – delivering ideas for national media brands, mentoring and diversifying teams across web, print, branding, multi-media and mobile disciplines. At ApexMedia he leads business direction and diversification, with a focus on new product builds, new business and leading vision for new business pitches and client strategy sessions. Education and social change in South Africa are huge personal passions.
Jaun started ApexMedia in 2010 in his parent’s garage with the vision of creating a world-class production facility for Africa. In 2014 he met Damon after a merger with Omnicom PR giant FleishmanHillard and a year later embarked on building a business together that focuses on delivering industry-changing solutions for their clients. He enjoys all things technical and loves when technology-driven solutions deliver long-lasting change. He was elected a WEF Global Shaper in 2017 and has a passion for the enablement and advancement of grassroots entrepreneurs.
Executive Creative Director
Kristijan has 16+ years experience in the media industry, working on publications and standalone design for various media houses. In 2014 he took on the role as Creative Director at Forbes Africa, the best-selling business magazine on the African continent. After winning the international Tabby Award in 2017 for Forbes Woman Africa, he joined ApexMedia, entrusted with taking the agency’s creative production into the future and beyond. Kris’s other passions are music, photography and videography.
